What is STEP?
STEP is an after school,
career exploration program for 10-12th graders at the John
D. O’Bryant School and the Edward M. Kennedy Academy for Health Careers.
In STEP, you will have
a chance to tour and explore some of Boston’s most exciting companies
and work environments. Most STEP tours happen
right after school and last about 2 hours. (With travel time to
and from the tours, the total time that tours take is about 4 hours.)
What
can STEP offer to you?:
Exploring Opportunities:
STEP offers the chance for you to see how your interests and skills
could fit into many different types of businesses.
Training and
Practice: Build skills and experience making you more
successful in future career exploration and job interview situations.
Connecting with
Professionals: STEP offers you the chance to engage
with business people and have conversations about their jobs and the
career paths that they followed.
